Delivering a New Campus on an Accelerated Timeline
In Buckeye, Arizona, rapid population growth created an immediate need for new educational facilities. The first phase of Liberty Elementary School was developed to meet that demand, delivering a fully operational K–5 campus in time for the start of the 2021 school year.
With just six months between groundbreaking and opening, the project required a focused and coordinated effort to ensure students had a place to learn without delay. Future phases were planned to expand the campus to serve grades six through eight as the community continues to grow.
Designing a Campus for Function and Flexibility
Situated on a 17-acre site, the campus includes multiple buildings, athletic fields, sports courts, and supporting infrastructure. Our team provided comprehensive engineering services, beginning with site planning and advancing through detailed design and construction documentation.
Key elements included grading and drainage design, stormwater management, and utility coordination, all developed to support both immediate use and future expansion of the school.
Supporting a Growing Community
The new campus provides much-needed capacity for the Liberty Elementary School District while creating a functional and adaptable environment for students and staff. By aligning design, infrastructure, and schedule, the project delivered a reliable facility that meets current needs and supports long-term growth.
